It was very fashionable to frequent this restaurant in the 60's, where you could meet celebrities such as Salvador Dali, Brigitte Bardot, Jerry Lewis.
The founders of the Anysetiers du Roy, the Lombard family, are the creators of the concept of ready-to-eat chocolate fondues.

Les Deux Gourmands is the story of two friends who love gastronomy and are both fascinated by the world of agriculture. The two founders Louis and Guillaume took on a crazy challenge : to comb the Paris area in search of the best local producers and then create 100% Île-de-France biscuits and honeys.
The ingredients all come from the Paris region. They are carefully selected and used to make the delicious biscuits at their farm in the Yvelines area, close to Paris.

Marou was born of the madcap dream of two Frenchmen living in Vietnam. That dream was to manufacture an extremely pure, dark chocolate in Saigon using 100% local ingredients. That chocolate would originate from the combination of the terroir of South Vietnam and the savoir-faire of French chocolatiers.
In doing this, they uncovered the century-old story of cocoa in Vietnam, a culture introduced to Indochina at the end of the 19th century that fell into obscurity during the war years and which has finally been rediscovered in the last 10 years.
