Dismissing the blockbusters of the category -strawberry, apricot- they created subtle flavors, mixing unexpected ingredients, creating collections inspired by the seasons. This couture way of seeing morning toasts is so typically French that it could only be named Confiture Parisienne.

Les Deux Gourmands is the story of two friends who love gastronomy and are both fascinated by the world of agriculture. The two founders Louis and Guillaume took on a crazy challenge : to comb the Paris area in search of the best local producers and then create 100% Île-de-France biscuits and honeys.
The ingredients all come from the Paris region. They are carefully selected and used to make the delicious biscuits at their farm in the Yvelines area, close to Paris.
With these Nemours poppy biscuits, you’ll discover a fruity flavour typical of Île-de-France and a regional speciality since the nineteenth century which, despite this, remains little-known. The poppies are hand-picked and prepared in the traditional way by Denis Jullemier. They liven up the sablé biscuits and are bursting with an original tang that will surprise your taste buds.

Since 1827, Boissier has truly embodied the purest tradition among confectioners. The Maison was created by the young confectioner Mr Bélissaire Boissier who invented a new glazing technique and was the first person to produce marrons glacés. He was also responsible for the metal boxes which are so emblematic today. Maison Boissier has now entered the history books and still perpetuates the unique expertise and flavours of Bélissaire Boissier, who sold his now legendary creations to the elegant female Parisian elite. As it has moved premises and expanded its activities over the years, Boissier has brought joy in turn to people living in different parts of Paris : Boulevard des Capucines, Avenue des Champs Elysées, Boulevard de Courcelles and Avenue Raymond Poincaré. Maison Boissier is today located at 184, Avenue Victor Hugo in the 16th arrondissement.
“My darlings, thanks to Boissier, we fall joyfully at your feet as the strong can be overcome with bombs, and the weak, with sweets”. Victor Hugo (nineteenth century) was already lauding Maison Boissier with these words. You will find strawberry, lemon, apple, orange and plum flavours in these little fruit jellies.

Originally created by Marc Perret in 2009, today Paris Honey owns hives near Notre-Dame in Le Marais on the roofs of the 4th arrondissement’s town hall, next to the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero on the roofs of the École Militaire, and at the Finance Ministry in Bercy. That makes four apiaries with two million bees in total.
The bees certainly have enough places where they can pick up pollen as there are a huge range of plants judiciously located around the capital: 500,000 trees and shrubs representing 150 different species.
As a result, there are countless flowers in woods, parks, gardens and on balconies, and flowering occurs in stages all the way through to October, enabling several different harvests of this fine, subtle Paris Honey to take place. Serving advice: Paris Honey can simply be spread on slices of bread, brioche and crepes, or mixed in sauces or marinades.
Ingredients: 100% honey. 30 g. Made in France.
